Here are some overdue pictures of Savannah. Savannah is really beautiful. Honestly, it’s the most beautiful city I’ve seen in all our road tripping. There are gardens among gardens among gardens, fountains, and trees that make a canopy over the streets and sidewalks. There’s such a rich history here, they even have haunted walking tours! These pictures don’t do it justice, but hopefully you get the idea!
Classic.
The breathtaking Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. 1873
Historic Downtown remains untouched.
Cotton, anyone?
Well, ya know what I mean.
Down on the water. (Savannah River)
Action shot! Haha. River Street. St Patty’s day is celebrated all month. Over 40,000 people go to Savannah on St. Patty’s Day itself!
Stone stairways in Savannah lead from the street down to the River.
Savannah River viewed from the street above.
Sleepy weeping trees.

Did you get to visit Paula Dean’s restaurant? I heard it’s like a 24 hr wait to be seated.
Good question. The locals said it wasn’t “real Savannah cooking”! So we went to a place called Sweet Potatoes Kitchen, which was high rated on Yelp! DEEEEELISH! I’ll probably post food pics somewhere later. Hahaha

Which camera did you use? Love them. IF you cropped thenew cars out of “Classic” I would have thought it was an old picture. Love the trees there.
I only have a D70 which is really dying. Sigh. We’ll probably get. D90 soon when the tax return comes. Haha
So true about Classic! I don’t think of these things!
