Hey everyone! Since I’m posting the next blog post on Monday after Halloween, I thought I’d greet you all now!
My band is playing a Mischief Night gig on Friday at Uncle Mike’s in downtown NYC at 10! Hope you all can come. We’ll be dressed as the Addams Family!
Here’s a music video I thought I’d share since it’s appropriately creepy for the holiday! It’s a song called Goodnight Moon by a band called Shivaree. Another version of this song can be found on the Kill Bill soundtrack. The lead singer, Ambrosia Parsely, really inspires me to sing with a sultry, light voice. The song and the arrangement makes me want to try and write with a more laidback vibe. Can’t wait to work on some new music!
